About Jack McQueeney

Jack McQueeney is a graduate of Iowa State University where he received his B.A. in Architecture. While on campus, Jack met Christ through The Navigators ministry. He joined The Navigators in 1982 as an assistant to Lorne Sanny, the 2nd International President. In 1984 Jack married his wife, Shaunda, and joined the Collegiate Staff in 1985. Jack and Shaunda served with The Navigators Collegiate ministry at the University of Texas in Austin through 1989. In the fall of 1989, he became the Eagle Lake Camp Director. During his tenure at Eagle Lake (1989-2001), he also played a significant role in leading the 1995 National Staff Conference – the first one held in over 30 years of Navigator history. In 2001, he became the Executive Director of Glen Eyrie. In his new role, he formed the Glen Eyrie Group and assembled a new team to give leadership to the camp and conference ministry of The Navigators. Jack and Shaunda have four children, two sons-in-law, and two grandchildren. Jack is passionate about raising up leaders and helping our staff grow in their personal walk with the Lord. He is a Certified Life Coach and enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing, camping, smoking large quantities of meat, and watching the 13-time world champion Green Bay Packers!
