Surrendered Life

A Men's Retreat at Glen Eyrie

“O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you…”
—Psalm 63:1

There are many voices and pressures calling for your attention, trying to define who you are and what you should do or be. Meanwhile, the Father’s voice is calling you to seek Him with your whole heart.  That is exactly what we are going to do.  We are going to surrender our whole hearts to Jesus.

Join the journey with other men as we seek the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind, and body! This retreat is kept intentionally small to avoid a seminar feel, to promote fellowship, and allow you to spend purposeful time alone with God.

Prepare to go deeper in your walk with God. Return to your daily routine equipped and encouraged to be the man God created you to be.

Jack joined The Navigators in 1982 as an assistant to Lorne Sanny, the 2nd International President. He joined the Collegiate Staff in 1985 and served with The Navigators Collegiate ministry at the University of Texas in Austin through 1989. In the fall of 1989, he became the Eagle Lake Camps Director. In his new role, he formed the Glen Eyrie Group and assembled a new team to give leadership to the camp and conference ministry of The Navigators.

Jack and his wife, Shaunda, have been married for over 30 years, and have four children, two sons-in-law, and two grandchildren. Jack is passionate about raising up leaders and helping our staff grow in their personal walk with the Lord. He is a Certified Life Coach and enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing, camping, smoking large quantities of meat, and watching the 13-time world champion Green Bay Packers!

Jeff Severn

Jeff met The Navigators at the University of Colorado in 1996 and because of this life changing moment, he’s been around them ever since. He has had the joy of serving with the Glen Eyrie Group for 12 years in many different roles. For the last 4 ½ years he has served as the Development Director, which gives him the opportunity to cultivate wonderful relationships with folks who have the passion to see our properties continue to impact people for generations to come.

Jeff was born in Berlin, Germany and has moved all around the world as his Dad served in the military for almost 29 years. Jeff has been married to his beautiful wife, Laura for over 14 years and they have 3 wonderful kids: two sons and a daughter.
