Join us in the Great Hall of the Castle for an evening of traditional Irish fiddler music paired with the innovative sounds of Brazilian choro music with Andrew Finn Magill.
Fiddler Andrew Finn Magill is a North Carolina Arts Council Fellow and has been featured on MTV, TEDx and NPR. Alan Murray is one of the most-sought after accompanists on the Irish scene, touring the world with the foremost names in the biz: Lúnasa, The Four Winds, The Battlefield Band and many more. Together they form one of the most exciting duos in contemporary Irish music.
Andrew Finn Magill is a Fulbright fellow, North Carolina Arts Council Fellow, and award-winning composer. He has been featured on MTV, TEDx, Avianca in-flight entertainment and multiple times on NPR’s The Thistle & Shamrock. His 2016 album Roots (featuring Cillian Vallely of Lúnasa and John Doyle) debuted at number #46 on the folk DJ charts and since then, he has toured internationally and headlined several Irish festivals.
Scottish guitar & bouzouki-player Alan Murray is one of the most in-demand accompanists in Irish music and has performed at Denmark’s Tønder Festival, Milwaukee Irish Fest and Celtic Connections. Alan has shared the stage with such artists as Karan Casey, Niall and Cillian Vallely, Eileen Ivers and Scotland’s Battlefield Band. In 2020, the two musicians released their album “Murray & Magill” exclusively on Bandcamp, which as of April 2021, has been purchased more than 115 times.

Preferred seating: the first 2 rows on the floor in the Great Hall. $49/person
General seating: on the floor in the Great Hall, in the 3rd row or behind. $42/person
Balcony seating (requires stairs to access): $39/person

FAQs
Payment is required at the time of reservation using a major credit card. Tickets are non-refundable, but may be transferred.
Guests who book an overnight stay in addition to their concert tickets will receive a programs discounted rate. Call 719-265-7050 for more information.
Please notify us in advance of any special needs you have. We do have an elevator and handicap access to the Great Hall. However, the balcony is not handicap accessible.
We are following all El Paso County guidelines regarding health and safety concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. We urge guests who are not feeling well to not attend the concert. For guests not fully vaccinated, we recommend face masks, but they are not required for any guests or staff at this time. There is no minimum or required dress code. The Great Hall is often drafty, we suggest a light sweater or jacket for ladies.
