Being Well in Christ
A Retreat For Women
MIND | BODY | SOUL
How Do We Begin to look at the topic of wellness through a biblical lens?
Being Well in Christ is an interactive 2-day retreat that is an introduction to viewing the body, along with the mind and spirit, from a Biblical perspective.
Psalm 139:13-14 (The Message) Oh yes, You shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you, High God- you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration- what a creation!
How do we begin to look at the topic of wellness through a Biblical lens? How might we use it to navigate the complicated, overwhelming, and conflicting cues the world is giving us related to our health and wellness? Does God care about my body and my body image? Come and see how God’s word can help us unpack issues of shame, neglect, and vanity as we learn together about the masterpiece he has designed and the practical ways we can invite Christ into our wellness journey. Together we will look at the details and importance of mindfulness, breathing, posture, core strength and balance. You will be equipped with practical ways to continue on the journey of true wellness with Christ as the center. This retreat includes a good variety of physical practices that work for all movement levels, as well as some teaching and reflective exercises that help lead the mind, body, and spirit towards renewal, restoration, and living well!
Please see the schedule for more detail about each session.

She has been leading Christian meditation and movement classes for 8 years. When she isn’t teaching, she can be found soaking up the Colorado sun on hikes or at the lake with her two daughters and her Goldendoodle.
