Educator's Repose Summer 2021

A Retreat for Teachers

" Am I Enough?"

As we labor and seek to serve God it seems we may all be plagued with a nagging question: “Am I enough?” We too often do not live up to expectations—those of others, our own, and certainly not those put before us in the Scriptures. We work, we pray, we commit, we sacrifice, we give unceasingly, and yet it never seems to be enough. And when things like a pandemic come along it seems impossible to be enough to meet the needs set before us. But perhaps that is the wrong question. You are invited to explore this matter with God and with others who also wrestle with the question, and have opportunity to be prayed over by people who care. God may surprise you with his view on this question of “being enough.”

Led by author, educator, chaplain, and spiritual guide, Donovan Graham will guide you through a time of undistracted conversation with God, allowing you to enter more fully into life through the mystery of the One who IS enough. Join us for a time to refresh your (likely) weary soul.

If you are in need of financial help to attend this Repose, please contact Donovan Graham at spaceforGod20@gmail.com or at 719-358-3037.

If you’d like to come earlier or stay after your retreat dates, lodging is available at a Glen Eyrie Programs discounted rate. Please call our reservations line at 719-265-7050 for details.

FAQ

We are making every effort to comply with state and county orders and recommendations regarding cleanliness, food service and social distancing. All staff begin their shift with a temperature check and health screening.  We have installed Plexiglas barriers in critical areas to limit face to face interactions, and our staff will be wearing face masks.  The wearing of face coverings inside buildings is required for guests per state mandate, but you may remove them while eating or drinking.

Attire for the weekend is casual. Be prepared to walk from your lodge to the Castle for meals. Our weather can be unpredictable, so pack layers and comfortable walking shoes.
