Pastors' Retreat:

Our Common Calling

For those in leadership, the trenches of ministry life can be hard. We invite you to step away from the day-to-day challenges, and find rest and encouragement at our special three-day retreat.

This carefully curated and intentional gathering for pastors and ministry leaders is designed to remind us of the value of our calling and the commission as leader of congregations and stewards of the Scriptures.

  • Hear from peers about the pastoral burden and the ecclesial vision.
  • Share ideas and borrow wisdom from fellow pastors.
  • Enjoy time to rest, think, pray, recuperate.
  • Renew your whole self in the beautiful and unique setting of the Glen Eyrie valley and the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
  • Remind yourself of the joy and craft of pastoring.

Our goal is to give you space, as a pastor and a person, to regather yourself in the outworking of your vocation. Enjoy conversations on the patio, great food and time alone with God – a compelling time to recharge for any pastor, church planter or ministry leader.

If you are able to bring your spouse, we have options for adding event registrations, or just a meal plan for those not attending the conference.

**If you’d like to come earlier or stay after your retreat dates, lodging is available at a Programs discounted rate. Please call our reservations line at 719-265-7050 for details.

We are making every effort to comply with state and county orders and recommendations regarding cleanliness, food service and social distancing. All staff begin their shift with a temperature check and health screening.  We have installed Plexiglas barriers in critical areas to limit face to face interactions, and our staff will be wearing face masks.  The wearing of face coverings inside buildings is required for guests per state mandate, but you may remove them while eating or drinking.  We will be doing a quick temperature check before the first meeting.

Our property is over 700 acres and contains 8 miles of hiking trails. Depending on where you are staying, you should be prepared to do lots of walking. Our weather can be unpredictable, so pack layers. Attire for the retreat is casual, and don’t forget your Bible!
