Renew & Pursue

A Retreat for Women to be Alone With God

Renew & Pursue is a retreat for women who simply want to get away and spend an entire day alone with God in one of His most beautiful settings!

Whether you regularly practice the discipline of extended times with God, or have never experienced an entire day of prayer and reading of scripture, this one-of-a-kind retreat will give you the space and resources to make a full day alone with God personal, unique, and rewarding.

This retreat has been prayerfully and intentionally designed for those who desire to:

  • Connect with God intimately in a space of quietness and beauty, without rush
  • Evaluate the pace and patterns of their life
  • Renew weary and heavy spirits
  • Pursue God in the year ahead with anticipation, purpose, and joy!

Renew & Pursue is led by a mother-daughter team, Leah Green and Traci Green DeBoer. Both were transformed by the work of Christ in their lives largely due to tools and practices learned from the Navigators ministry over decades. Their unified heartbeat is to endeavor to bring others to maturity in Christ, inspiring generations of women towards faithful obedience to the One who calls us, equips us, and loves us!

“You’re my place of quiet retreat, I wait for your Word to renew me!” Psalm 119:114 (MSG)

Retreat Leaders

Leah Green

Leah Green lives in Colorado Springs ~ she and husband Terry have been married for 57 years, have 4 children, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In 1995, they became associate staff with the Navigators in New Mexico and moved to Colorado Springs in 2005 to be full-time Navigator staff. For 15 years they directed Marriage GetAway and Closer: Marriage Prayer Retreats at Glen Eyrie.   As of 2021, they are directing Closer Prayer Retreats and more one-on-one personal and couple disciple-making ministry. Discipleship has totally energized their walk with the Lord and become their passion in sharing with others.

The Lord gave Leah and Traci a vision for Renew and Pursue a couple of years ago – a place, space and pace for women to come away for refreshing and perspective in the fullness of life. It is our joy to host this retreat and we pray it will bless generations to come.

Traci DeBoer

Traci (Green) DeBoer lives near Orlando, Florida with her husband of 25 years and four children. Having been raised in a Christian home, it wasn’t until Traci’s time in college in the early 90’s that her eyes of faith were truly opened to the power of the gospel. Incredibly hungry to know more about God and His Word, she attended the Navigator’s Leadership Development Institute (a former program) for 2 years at the Glen Eyrie Conference Center. That time launched Traci into what would be a lifetime call into ministry, specifically discipleship.

She has worked on staff in other parachurch organizations, served in Christian education positions, contributed to women’s church ministries, and currently strives to come alongside women in her various domains to help strengthen their walk with Christ.
