Sacred Space Repose for Educators
July 7 - July 10
Most of us may have a hard time experiencing God’s “furious longing” for us, as Brennan Manning describes it. We want to be close to Him, but our lives do not seem to allow for it. The Sacred Space Repose is an opportunity to step away from our hurried, busy, and demanding lives to accept His invitation to commune with Him. You will have some time to be alone to interact with Him concerning some good life questions, share some thoughts with a few others who share your challenging journey as an educator and be prayed over. Come, create some space for God, and discover His longing for you.
Led by author, educator, chaplain, and director of The Center for Teacher Renewal, Donovan Graham will guide you through a time of undistracted conversation with God, allowing you to draw closer to the One who matters most. Join us for a weekend that will refresh your soul!
If you are in need of financial help to attend this retreat, please contact Donovan Graham at firstname.lastname@example.org
Donovan has been working with educators for 50 years—as fellow teacher, counselor, professor, chaplain, and spiritual guide. Author of two books for educators, he is currently the director and chaplain of The Center for Teacher Renewal where his passion is to renew and revive weary educators by inviting them to rest in the presence of God. It is in quiet solitude that a person can experience greater intimacy with Him, which Donovan believes is necessary in order for educators to thrive, rather than merely survive in a demanding and often under-supported profession and ministry. He and his wife Wilma currently live in Colorado Springs, CO.
