A One-Man Theater Performance of The Great Divorce
Performed at The Glen Eyrie Castle
4:00 pm and 7:00pm
Optional dinner available between performances at 5:30 pm
C.S. Lewis' classic literature brought to life by the nationally acclaimed
Anthony lawton
Singlehandedly portraying more than a dozen characters, Lawton captivates the mind and heart, compelling us to consider the truths presented by C.S. Lewis. Step into a tale of wanderers who find themselves on a bus ride to the gates of Heaven but discover the choice between eternal joy and a life of misery is harder than they expected… even though they are passionately beckoned.
Set in the grandeur of The Great Hall of The Glen Eyrie Castle, this nationally acclaimed performance will be unforgettable! Join us for an evening of entertainment, profound insight, and surprising humor.
This 75-minute performance will be in the Great Hall of The Castle and will include an unforgettable Q&A with Tony Lawton following the performance.
Featured Performer: Anthony Lawton
Anthony Lawton has acted professionally since 1992. In 1998, he founded the Mirror Theatre Company. The company is committed to presenting drama about our spiritual life that will be of interest to all audiences, secular or religious. Lawton has performed in film, TV, Off-Broadway, regional theater and is also a teacher of the arts. His desire is that his plays would be part of an on-going dialogue with the audience where we discuss and consider that which is (or isn’t!) Eternal in us.
