About the Retreat
Is good grand-parenting good enough? Our culture has defined a good grandparent, but what does the Bible say?
Legacy of Faith is a unique, uplifting retreat for grandparents desiring a spiritual legacy of lasting inheritance. Held at the beautiful Glen Eyrie Conference Center in Colorado Springs, it is filled with biblical teaching, encouraging fellowship, practical/applicable tools, intentional time and space to refresh each couple.
Topics include:
- What is a Legacy of Faith? What are God’s directives and what are our Biblical roles and responsibilities as grandparents
- Cross-Generational Connections: Methods of communicating among and between generations
- Overcoming barriers: Long-distance grand-parenting, prodigal children/grandchildren, spiritual resistance, past regrets and failures
- Maximizing generational influence and impact moving forward

FAQ
Our property is over 700 acres and contains 8 miles of private hiking trails. Depending on where you are staying, you should be prepared to do lots of walking. Our weather can be unpredictable, so pack layers. Attire for the retreat is casual, and don’t forget your Bible!
Glen Eyrie Programs require payment in full at the time of reservation. Reservations cancelled or rescheduled at least 14 days prior to the start date will be charged a 10% fee. Reservations cancelled or rescheduled within 14 days of the start date will be charged a 50% fee. Reservations cancelled within 3 days of the event date will be charged the full amount.
Our property contains 95 guest rooms in 7 different lodges, including our historic Castle. None of our rooms have TV’s, although free wi-fi is available throughout the property. Rooms contain coffee makers, but no microwaves or refrigerators. They are available for guest use in the common areas of each lodge. Please notify us of any allergies or dietary needs in advance. Our Food & Beverage team can accommodate gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan and vegetarian diets with advance notice. We are not a gluten-free certified kitchen, and cross-contamination may occur.
