About Searchlight Theatre
Founded in 2011 by David Robinson and Michael Taylor—two seasoned performers with more than 50 years of combined experience—Searchlight Theatre brings compelling stories to life on stage. Based in the UK, they have delighted audiences across the globe, including regular performances in the United States.
For those who love theatre, its magic is undeniable—the charged atmosphere, the spine-tingling moments, and the way strangers unite through shared laughter or tears. Theatre has the power to stir deep emotions, spark meaningful conversations, and even transform lives. It can challenge perspectives, affirm beliefs, and celebrate our shared humanity.
Searchlight’s vision is to create theatre that tells life-changing stories—stories that make audiences laugh, cry, and reflect on what it means to be human, while also encountering the reality of God. Their work has earned critical acclaim, with at least one four-star review from each of their 12 appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
This is now their second performance at the historic Glen Eyrie Castle, and they look forward to sharing an unforgettable experience with you.
