Exclusive Full Castle Tour One Day Only - November 24
This Holiday weekend, spend some intentional time with your family and experience Colorado history at The Glen Eyrie Castle with an exceptional Tour!
On Black Friday, November 24, every guest room in the Glen Eyrie Castle is available for viewing after our Thanksgiving closure. We are beginning a complete castle renovation, and 6 rooms in our West Wing will be under construction and blocked off. Because of this, we are offering an additional rare opportunity to tour our historic Pink House after the Castle Tour.
Step back in time as you hear about the rich heritage of General William Jackson Palmer, our city’s founder, and the deep spiritual legacy of The Navigators. Our guided Historical Tour will take you on a journey filled with stories of rival turn-of-the-century railroad wars and oil tycoons to what is now the soul-stirring property of Glen Eyrie.
Our trained Tour Guides will entertain you with stories of the Palmer family, Glen Eyrie Estate, unique architecture of The Castle, surrounding landscape, and Colorado Springs history.
So what makes this Tour so special? As an active conference center, we are usually only able to show a select handful of rooms, but on this day, the entire Castle will be available for viewing, and all four floors of The Castle will be open to explore with your Tour Guide. Due to construction, the Castle west wing (6 rooms) is currently blocked off. We will offer an extra, rare opportunity to tour the historic Pink House, built in 1925. This will involve additional walking.
Part of the tour is outside, so please be prepared for our ever-changing Colorado weather!
This is an extended tour of two hours in length, and requires walking and stairs. This gives you the chance to pick out your favorite room for your next Overnight Stay at the Castle! Don’t miss this one-day opportunity to have an engaging and fun time with friends and family.

- All reservations for Castle Tours require a credit card to guarantee the reservation. Payment will be collected using the provided credit card on the morning of the scheduled tour.
- Cancellations are permitted without penalty up to 24 hours before the scheduled tour.
- No-Shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
