Watercolor Painting
Led by Sherry Graf, who has been painting watercolors and teaching for over 5 years. Her classes are tailored for beginners. Spend 2 hours learning to watercolor with step by step instruction. The cost is $32 which includes all supplies and you will leave with a finished painting. Each class will have a different painting subject from the previous week. School aged children are welcome with a paying adult. These classes have typically been selling out! If you attend with a friend or in a group, please come early to ensure you can sit together, all seating is first-come, first-served.

Nature Journaling
Another class led by the talented Sherry Graf! Discover the joy of Nature Journaling at beautiful Glen Eyrie. No experience is needed—only curiosity and a love for the outdoors. Together, we’ll explore simple ways to record your nature observations through sketching, watercolor pencils, and a variety of creative journal page ideas. All supplies are included but you are welcome to bring your own, especially if you have a journal with heavyweight or watercolor paper. Children are welcome to register with a paying adult. This is an outdoor class and will last about 90 minutes. We suggest you bring a hat, water bottle and dress in layers and comfortable walking shoes. A lightweight camping chair may also be useful, but is optional.

Soap Making
Join us for a hands-on soap-making experience led by Tony Merschdorf, an experienced educator and craftsman with a passion for helping others learn and create. Spend two hours learning the art of handcrafted soap-making, with step-by-step guidance as you create your own batch from start to finish. The cost is $80 per individual or bring along a friend for $20 more. Each participant (or pair) will leave with a reusable soap mold that can be cut into approximately 11 bars of soap. Participants must be at least 12 years old, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. All participants are required to sign a safety waiver, and all protective equipment will be provided.
