Watercolor Painting

Led by Sherry Graf, who has been painting watercolors and teaching for over 5 years. Her classes are tailored for beginners. Spend 2 hours learning to watercolor with step by step instruction.  The cost is $29 which includes all supplies, plus a coupon for a handcrafted coffee drink from our Glen Eyrie Cafe.

Each participant will leave with their painting. Children 12 and older are welcome with a paying adult.

Cell Phone Photography

Almost everyone has a cell phone, but how many of us know how to take good photos with it? This 90 minute class is designed to help those who desire to take their photography skills to the next level.  It will start with 20-30 minutes of basic instruction, and then you will walk around the property with the instructor and learn to take great photos at several picturesque locations.

Our instructor is Sidney Teel, who is an artist and photographer currently enrolled in the Visual Arts program at the University of Colorado.

The cost of the class is $15, and includes one drink from our Glen Eyrie cafe.

Sherry Graf

Sherry and her husband Jeff have served on Navigator Collegiate staff for 26 years. She discovered watercolor painting over 5 years ago and has started teaching classes at Haven school in Black Forest. Her desire is to help others discover watercolor and move past the roadblocks to creativity.

Sherry sells her artwork and greeting cards online at SherryGraf.com.

Sidney Teel

Sidney has been on staff at Glen Eyrie in our Guest Services department for the past four years. An artist and photographer, she is currently enrolled in the University of Colorado’s Visual Arts program.  She discovered her passion for photography in high school and wants to show others how to effectively use compositional tools to enhance their work. Her desire is to help others better understand their cameras and how to create beautiful photos with just a few simple steps!
