About the Conference
Take a step back from the busyness of life with a weekend away designed to enrich, refresh, and re-energize your marriage at Marriage GetAway, a Christian marriage retreat at Glen Eyrie Castle.
Through both group discussions and unstructured time together as a couple, you’ll be encouraged by God’s presence and the grandeur of the setting to unwind and invest in your marriage. Spend time exploring our 700 acre property, relaxing, and making memories you’ll remember for years to come.
Marriage GetAway is uniquely different from other Christian marriage retreats. You’ll be treated like royalty – including 4-course meals, romantic evenings in the Castle, and other fun surprises. Over the course of the weekend, you’ll have the opportunity to connect and learn from other couples as well as the program hosts. This retreat is intentionally kept small so guests can connect on a deeper level, and is perfect for couples of all ages.
The Glen Eyrie property provides the necessary space away to develop and mature the spiritual legacy you and your spouse will leave behind.

Retreat Leaders
Mike and Becky McNamee are the founders of Bold Destiny, a ministry dedicated to equipping, strengthening, and encouraging couples to fulfill God’s design for their marriages. Together, Mike and Becky bring a depth of knowledge to Marriage GetAway (and have even gone through the retreat themselves!).
Prior to Bold Destiny, Mike spent 18 years in Corporate Sales Management and then 12 years with the Navigators, serving as General Manager of the Glen Eyrie Conference Center in Colorado Springs. He is passionate about helping men become strong spiritual leaders in their homes and places of influence.
Becky has been a faithful and dedicated wife, homemaker and homeschool Mom. She is passionate about helping women discover their true God-given design and embracing the importance of supporting and encouraging their husbands as leaders.
The McNamees have been happily married since 1984 and have three children and four grandchildren.
FAQ
The guest rooms are located in our historic Castle. None of our rooms have TV’s, although free wi-fi is available throughout the property. Rooms contain coffee makers, but no microwaves or refrigerators. An Ice machine is available in the Castle West Wing. Each room is unique in size and decor. Glen Eyrie Programs require payment in full at the time of reservation. Reservations cancelled or rescheduled at least 14 days prior to the start date will be charged a 10% fee. Reservations cancelled or rescheduled within 14 days of the start date will be charged a 50% fee. Reservations cancelled within 3 days of the event date will be charged the full amount.
The weekend is casual except for dinner on Friday night where we will take photos. Feel free to dress up as much as you like! Our weather can be unpredictable, so pack layers and comfortable walking shoes.
Please notify us of any allergies or dietary needs in advance. Our Food & Beverage team can accommodate gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan and vegetarian diets with advance notice. We are not a gluten-free certified kitchen, and cross-contamination may occur.
